It was dark.
The fireflies were glowing and the moths were dancing around the lights. Night swimming is one of the most exciting things of summer. B, our guest, was swimming with Little monster and I.
Each of us had a flipper and two diving rings. As we played our little game, we forgot the time. Our only source of light was the underwater light. In total darkness, it was truly the underwater sun. It radiated warmth, turning the pool into an iridescent wonderland. Shadows were casted by diving rings on the bottom. The whole pool glowed aquamarine.
We grabbed our towels and headed inside at eleven; Dad was sleepy and tired of watching us. I wanted to keep swimming forever, but of course forever is too good to be true.
